Background

A news portal site for everyday updates regarding any information that you want to know from a trusted source. That is Eshilalekh. Established by Diwakar Bhandari, with the very motive to bring the trusted platform of news and entertainment to the public.

As termed with its name, Eshilalekh is an online medium of inscription of news and current affairs that has value and importance. 

The Process and Insight

1. The Challenge

First, the issue that we had to tackle was the management of the database. All the pre-planned data and articles with their respective pictures for the ease of the contributor had to be planned in an orderly manner. The database of news portal sites is one of the heavy elements while developing their website. So, with that plan on the work, we had to build a website that could bring regular news and updates.

2. Strategic Approach

We started with the simple management of the database and built the website with fluent practice to help the viewers and the Website contributors in the long run. With the valued audience in mind, the strategy made it secure, functional, fast, and responsive in all device platforms.

3. Piecing it together

With the components and layout of the website and its corresponding pages ready to be worked upon, we started filling the data into the website. The contributor part of managing was done with smooth processing which helped in formatting the visualizing factors of the website before moving forward.

4. Functionality

As a news portal website, it had to have a smooth UI/UX that needed to converse and connect with the reader along with perfect execution in cross-platform devices. So, with the mobile users who are the targeted primary visitors for the website, we worked on making the responsive design with proper optimization to befit.

5. Tools and Technologies

We have used WordPress as the CMS for content management that requires efficient and regular updates. The categories and overall management of news through the website have relied upon this platform. The website has been integrated with adjustable blocks and designs that can include any changes in their contents later in the future.

Website Design

The website typography has been laid out in a plain white background with the head section highlighting the different categories. The font for all the text has been chosen to be striking black. With smoothly flowing content, the website and its structure have been giving a soothing perspective of choice.

Visually the Brand logo was depicted with an easy understanding of the symbol. A typical house in the brand color of Brown Background with white texture for the symbol was selected for the process.

The motive of the website design was to create a feel that a visitor could feel at home while scrolling through the website. It has been successfully achieved.

Result

With the completion of the website, the client party has achieved its goal of having a smoothly running and secured website. With everything intact the website has started, its function of delivering news in a localized way. The SEO methods and the coverage of the current affairs in the newly built website have been made easier for the Content managers to push out their regular broadcast of information. The website is running smoothly and right on target of the visioned mission.
